This product is used as a defluorination agent for high fluorine water, and is a molecular adsorbent with a large specific surface area. When the PH value of raw water is low, the number of micropores is large and the capacity of fluoride removal is high. The defluorinator can also be used in conjunction with the defluorination and arsenic removal device of the waterworks or the industrial defluorination and arsenic removal device.


Activated alumina defluorination agent, can be used with household defluorination cylinder, containing WHA-104 defluorination agent 1.6kg, water from below, above, defluorination cylinder is simple to operate, easy to use, is the ideal drinking water defluorination device in the family. The defluorinator can also be used with the defluorination device of water works or industrial defluorination device.

(2) Household defluorination device defluorination agent activation: configure aluminum sulfate solution (3 liters of water, 0.3kg solid aluminum sulfate), net alumina defluorination agent into the above solution, soak 5-10 hours to discard the immersion (soak to stir properly) and then wash with water 3-5 times, each time with 2 liters of water.


(3) Regeneration of household defluorination agent: with aluminum sulfate solution and the same solution used for activation, put the recycled alumina defluorination agent into the above solution for 30 hours, discard the immersion solution (to be properly stirred when soaking) and then wash with clean water 3-5 times, each time with about 2 liters of water. Or use the adjusted PH method to regenerate PH and control it at 7.5.


(4) Activated alumina defluorination agent can be used continuously for 6-8 years, when the surface appears yellow brown, the defluorination effect is significantly reduced, which is caused by impurities in the water, so it is best to treat once every six months with 3% diluted hydrochloric acid, the operation method is the same as the regeneration method.


This product is used for defluorination agent in alkyl benzene production and defluorination in drinking water.



Matters needing attention


Before the raw water comes into contact with the filter material, the pH value should be reduced, and the reduction value should be determined by technical and economic comparison, and it should generally be adjusted to between 6.0 and 7.0. Raw water can be used to add sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, acetic acid and other acidic solution or add carbon dioxide gas to reduce the pH value, the dosage should be calculated according to the alkalinity and pH value of raw water or determined by test. The filtration rate of the filter can be adopted in the following two ways:


(1) When the filter inlet pH value is greater than 7.0, the intermittent operation mode should be adopted, and the design filter speed is 2 ~ 3m/h, the continuous operation time is 4 ~ 6h, and the intermittent 4 ~ 6x.


(2) When the influent pH value is less than 7.0, continuous operation can be used, and the filter speed is 6 ~ 10m/h. The flow of raw water through the filter material layer can be bottom-up or top-down. When sulfuric acid solution is used to adjust the pH value, it is appropriate to adopt a top-down approach. When using carbon dioxide to adjust pH value, it is advisable to use bottom-up method. The fluoride content of the effluent at the end of the defluorination cycle of a single filter can be slightly higher than 1mg/L, and the fluoride content of the end point should be determined according to the mixing adjustment capacity, but the fluoride content of the treated water after mixing should not be greater than 1.0mg/L. The periodic adsorption capacity of the material is mainly selected according to the fluoride content of raw water, pH value, filtration speed, filter layer thickness, final fluoride content and filter material performance.


(1) When the pH value is adjusted by sulfuric acid solution to 6.0 ~ 6.5, it can generally be 4 ~ 5g(F)/kg(Al2O3).


(2) When the pH value is adjusted by carbon dioxide to 6.5 ~ 7.0, it can generally be 3 ~ 4g(F)/kg(Al2O3).
