The main difference between it and rasping ring packing is that there is a rectangular window hole on the side wall, and the window blade of the window hole is bent into the ring center. The distribution performance of gas and liquid is greatly improved compared with that of rasping ring due to the opening of the ring wall, especially the inner surface area of the ring can be fully utilized.


Pall ring product features: Pall ring packing has the advantages of large flux, small resistance, high separation efficiency and large operating flexibility, under the same pressure reduction, the processing capacity can be more than 50% larger than the rasping ring. At the same processing capacity, the pressure reduction can be reduced by half, and the mass transfer efficiency can be increased by about 20%. Compared with the rasping ring, this kind of packing has the characteristics of large production capacity, strong resistance, and large operating elasticity. Under normal circumstances, the same pressure drop is 50% larger than the rasping ring, the same pressure drop is 50%-70% smaller than the rasping ring, and the tower height is also reduced. The use of Pall ring can be about 20%-40% of the packing volume than the rasping link.

The metal Pall ring packing is made of metal sheet, and two rows of window holes with protruding tongue blades are opened on the ring wall. It has the characteristics of large voidage, low pressure drop and mass transfer unit height, high flooding point, full vapor liquid contact, small specific gravity and high mass transfer efficiency. This structure improves the vapor and liquid distribution and makes full use of the inner surface of the ring, thus allowing the gas and liquid in the packed tower to pass freely through the form.


Pall ring shape structure can be divided into internal ribs for the rice type, called plastic Pall ring (m); The inner rib is a well shape, called a plastic Pall ring (well).

The structure of the Pall ring improves the distribution of vapor and liquid, making full use of the inner surface of the ring, so that the gas and liquid in the packed tower can pass freely through the form.
