At the same time, it has the advantages of low resistance and large flux, and is suitable for the working conditions requiring efficient dust removal and aerosol removal. For example, in the boiler ultra-low emission project, 250Y corrugated structured packing is used for washing towers to remove dust and aerosols after desulfurization. In addition, the modular design of the structured packing is easy to install and maintain, and the material selection (such as polypropylene) can meet the requirements of corrosion resistance and temperature resistance. However, it should be noted that the anti-fouling and plugging performance of structured packing is relatively weak, and it is often combined with loose packing in practical applications, such as loose packing in the lower section of the tower and structured packing in the upper section to balance efficiency and plugging resistance.
