DNA and RNA extraction methods can be divided into mechanical methods and chemical methods. Mechanical methods are one of the more common methods for grinding DNA and are widely used in different types of cell samples. The mechanical crushing method destroys the cell structure by applying force and friction, thereby releasing the material inside the cell. Traditional mechanical crushing methods include grinding and homogenization.

The tissue grinder extracts and purifies DNA, RNA and proteins. It can quickly and stably split and purify nucleic acids and proteins of various types of samples.
General zirconium bead manufacturers have special zirconium bead for tissue grinding
Grind bacteria with 0.1mm diameter 95 zirconium beads
For yeast or fungi, use 95 zirconium beads with a diameter of 0.5mm.
Use 95 zirconium beads with a 1.0mm diameter for most tissues.
For skin or soft plant materials use 2.0mm zirconia beads.
